The shopping experts agree that the best thing you can do to help yourself secure the best deals is to prepare ahead of time. Some go so far as to visit the store ahead of time to familiarize yourself with the store’s layout so that you can get in and out with the precision of a surgical strike

–but, how can you be expected to know what and where the perfect sale items are if you don’t know ahead of time what is going to be one sale?

Well, first you make a list of the things you would to buy if—by chance—it happened to come on sale. Call it your wish list.

Next you research the items on your wish list online and compare prices. Then visit the store with the best price before Black Friday, and ask all the questions you want to ask the sales staff (because on Black Friday, no one has time to answer questions).
